THE BED-ROOM

Here are some of the things that are occupying my spaces right now. The overnight skin cream is nothing fancy, just a cheap pharmacy brand, but it makes my skin so soft. It is infused with bergamot and almond oil. Anyone who has read my blog through the years know that the little rabbits are a souvenir from when I lived in Hong Kong for a few months. I bought the necklace in the Philippines. It is a record that you can spin to different terms of endearment in French and English (I love you, I hate you, A little)

I think I bought this perfume because it has one of my three favourite numbers on it, and because of the simple & beautiful packaging. It smells wonderful though, and I love to make the smell permeate my sheets. The other perfume is an old mens perfume. I love wearing mens perfume.

My sister gave me the lamp when she moved back to Oslo and the book is a library book. The San Pellegrino bottles are treats to myself when I want to feel fancy. I end up leaving the bottles all over the place because I think that they are pretty.

My ladder to heaven and the most comfortable bed in the whole of London.

This is what I am reading at the moment - a book on Marilyn Monroe that I bought for 50p at a used book store. I think it was published before she tragically passed away because there is no foreshadowing to the her death and I am already on the last few pages.

A framed picture of my favourite scene in my favourite movie, which was a Christmas present. Everything in my room cost me almost nothing. Except for my clothes and my cameras. I found my desk on the street (I'll show it off another day). I find a lot of furniture on the streets. And then I paint over them with cheap paint. Its fun.

At the moment I am listening to this

I love the simplicity of your room! Very charming!
Do tell me, what is the clip of?

Thanks Ingrid! I thought it was from Boots. I have the vanishing day cream (is this the same one you have?) and it's just lovely. Quite cheap too, saves me from buying the really expensive ones! Couldn't find this night cream though. Also, can I just say that your long hair looks stunning! Did you get tired of having short hair?

thank you so much x

anon 21:02 - the clip Tahiti Rain Song by Cocorosie. Check out By Your Side or Cocorosie. I love their music, all though I guess it may be an acquired taste. :)

anon 12:16 - thank you! I got tired of waking up looking like a fur ball. the awkward stage gave me bad hair days every day so i decided to so something about it.

oh and anon 12:16 - the creams are fantastic! i usually spend BUCKS on buying expensive creams during the winter because my face gets so so dry but these creams work really well and they smell so nice.

Right, that's me off to Boots to try and find the night cream because I absolutely love the day one. I'm the same as you, super dry skin during the winter. I literally slather on moisturiser. I'm sure you never ever look like a fur ball! You look amazing even with the short hair.

Totally random question, I've been following your blog for a bit now and I remember you had some photos that were like Polaroid? How did you do that or were they really Polaroid shots? Do you have a MacBook Pro and do it from there? So sorry about all these questions! So random eh? :)
